15th Annual Regional Refugee Forum
In the 15th Annual Refugee Regional Forum, the Canterbury Refugee Resettlement and Resource Centre spearheaded a transformative dialogue. Their mission was ambitious: to reshape discussions surrounding resettlement issues, fostering profound cooperation among government agencies, NGOs, and the vibrant tapestry of refugees and migrant communities dedicated to serving New Zealand. The overarching goal was crystal clear: to achieve not just better outcomes for all New Zealanders but to enhance social cohesion and carve out brighter, more secure futures for every displaced and migrant soul welcomed by New Zealand's shores.

NZ Police Safety Workshop
This interactive workshop is designed to cover various aspects of crime prevention, including neighborhood safety, property protection, personal and family security, road safety, and online safety. Participants will engage in discussions, activities, and scenario-based learning to better understand and implement the safety tips and strategies provided by the New Zealand Police Team, Shonosuke Deguchi.

Elderly Socialize Program
The Elderly Socialize Program – Iftar and Maghrib Prayer with Imam Idris is a friendly gathering where older people and ethnic groups get together to enjoy Ramadan traditions. They share a meal to break their fast, pray together, and learn about Ramadan from Imam Idris. It's a time for seniors to connect, make friends, and feel supported in a warm and welcoming environment.

Family Violence Workshop
The Family Violence Workshop is a structured educational session aimed at raising awareness, providing resources, and facilitating discussions around the issue of Refugee/Immigrant family violence. A citizen rights and obligations workshop are a way of people learn about their rights and duties as citizens of a country. It is like a class where you find out what you're allowed to do as a citizen, such as voting and what you're expected to do, like obeying the law and paying taxes.
